Convex Hull-based Construction Method of the Distributionally Robust Flexibility Operation Region Model for a Photovoltaic-Storage DC Flexible System

This paper proposes a distributionally robust optimization-based flexibility operation model (FOR) for a photovoltaic-storage DC flexible system (PSDFS). The method first considers the temporal randomness and temporal correlation of photovoltaic-load sequences and constructs multiple sets of typical photovoltaic-load scenarios for a large number of sequences. Next, it builds a FOR model for the PSDFS based on distributionally robust constraints, controlling the expected value of load curtailment under the worst-case probability distribution within a desired range. Finally, the CCG algorithm is used to repeatedly solve the main problem and subproblems, obtaining the FOR of the model and achieving visualization. By controlling the curtailment rate under the worst-case probability distribution, this model enhances robustness and generalizability, enabling the superior grid to flexibly dispatch the PSDFS.
