Simulation, Design and Optimization of an Electric High-Speed Motor with Distributed Tooth-Coil Winding
Permanent magnet synchronous motors (PMSM) are becoming increasingly important in order to meet the growing demand for energy efficiency. Therefore, a PMSM for high-speed applications in the lower power range was developed in this study. Particular attention was paid to the winding pattern of the distributed tooth-coil winding. In addition, the comparability of a Model Equivalent Circuit (MEC) and the Finite Element Method (FEM) with the real measurement results of a functional model was investigated.
