Evaluation Method of Aggregate Potential of Rapid Demand Response for Large-Scale Electric Vehicle Load

Aiming at the problem of lack of subjective and objective factors in EV scheduling, this paper proposes a method to evaluate aggregate potential of rapid demand response for large-scale EV load. Based on multiple sources such as electric characteristics, user behavior and external environment of electric vehicles, the dynamic response characteristics of large-scale electric vehicles under subjective and objective factors are coordinated, and a constraint model of subjective and objective response ability of large-scale electric vehicles is proposed considering grid side and user side factors. Then, in order to evaluate the aggregation potential of similar groups and reduce the computational workload, a group classification method of electric vehicles based on k-means algorithm is proposed. Finally, the comprehensive weight calculation method combining entropy weight method and analytic hierarchy process is used to obtain the quantitative evaluation results of the potential of large-scale electric vehicle load to participate in the power grid active control, and the effectiveness of the evaluation method is verified by simulation examples.
