Research on Cross-Space Propagation of Cyber Security Risks in Cyber Physical Power Systems Based on State Transition Machines
As smart grids continue to develop, advanced sensing, computing, communication, and control technologies are increasingly being embedded into power systems. Traditional power systems are gradually merging with information control devices and communication networks, creating Cyber-Physical Power Systems (CPPS). To explore the complex effects of information-layer risks on the safety and stability of power system operations, this paper introduces a state transition machine approach, offering a detailed analysis of security risk transformation mechanisms within the cyber-physical environment. Simulations conducted on the IEEE 9-bus system validate the effectiveness of this method for security analysis and risk assessment in CPPS, highlighting the impact of varying risk transmission and mitigation rates.
