Complementary Scheduling of Cascade Hydropower Stations and Photovoltaic Power Considering Daily Regulating Hydropower Stations

To achieve China's carbon peak and carbon neutrality targets, and help consume a greater proportion of clean energy, this paper proposes a novel Cascade Hydropower Intraday Scheduling Model that takes into account daily regulating power stations and time-delay effects. Taking the minimum curtailment rate and the minimum electricity shortfall rate as the objective functions, we construct an intra-day scheduling model for cascade hydropower stations, considering dimensionality disaster, time-delay phenomena, and the presence of daily regulating hydropower stations. Taking a six-level hydropower station in southwest China as the research object, the research results show that the model can effectively improve the quality of multi-energy complementary output power and reduce the difference by 90% in water level between the beginning and the end of the daily regulation hydropower station, compared to before optimization.
