Benefit Evaluation Model of Energy Storage In the Energy Market Considering the Impact of the Stage of Charge
Recently, with the large-scale integration of renewable energy, the position of energy storage is becoming increasingly important. Therefore, the participation of energy storage (ES) in the energy market has become a research hotspot. However, the existing looks into concentrate on how ES can get extra advantages through height valley cost differences in the energy market or how to maximize the procedure of ES. The benefit analysis of ES is uncommon and the constrains also do not match the real operating problem. In this paper, an advantage assessment version of ES in the energy market taking into consideration the effect of the stage of charge (SOC) is recommended, in which the charging and discharging efficiency is very closely related to the SOC and the cycle life price is considered into the unbiased function. Numerical results from a typical 0.5MW/1MWh ES illustrate the impact on benefits owing to limitation of SOC.
