Industrial Steel Melting Machines Transient and Angular Speed Data Transfer Remotely Control Using Selsyn and Silicon Control Rectifier
Industrial steel melting machines transient and angular speed data transfer remotely control using selsyn and silicon control rectifier is presented. Stress on steel melting machines (SMM) melting section transient phenomenon is on the increase for steel melting machines section stability. For SMM melting section to maintained quality services. Silicon controlled rectifier (SCR) that allows electricity to flow in one direction are used as high power control. It is a 3 terminal and 4 solid state layer semiconductor current controlling device with added ability to turn on and off. The laboratory experiment was conducted which shows that when rheostat ‘R’ was varied until armature voltage ‘E<inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">A</inf>’=175V dc. SMM transient of DC machine was control by changing supply voltage as the field current varies using close-loop Silicon Control Rectifiers Speed Control. The shunt machine variable resistor was introduced in the shunt circuit, the field weakening and the speed increased for smooth SMM operation. Experimental results on the drives performances of SMM at run-up characteristics using silicon control rectifier speed control for various results was graphically presented.
