Intelligent Physicochemical Analysis Laboratory for Coagulant Dosing in a Potable Water Treatment
The objective of this work is to develop and innovate within the physicochemical analysis laboratory unit of a drinking water production station, with a particular focus on the key step in drinking water production: coagulation. This research combines aspects of automation, artificial intelligence, and biotechnology to develop an intelligent methodology for predicting the coagulant dose based on measured raw water characteristics, such as turbidity, pH, and temperature, using the Adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS) of the Takagi-Sugeno (TS) type. This research was conducted in collaboration with the SEATA drinking water production station in Annaba, Algeria.
