Accumulation Efficiency Augmentation of Mono C-Si Solar Cell using Photon Concentration Method

Expense reduction and environment friendliness in power production are just two of the numerous advantages of using solar panels for energy generation. Energy users can now achieve new degrees of independence and pollution-free power sources due to solar panels. Toxic particles in vast amounts escape from air filtration devices and reach the atmosphere even though coal power plants purge their carbon emissions. Communities and surroundings around solar power installations are safer when solar power is used instead of coal-fired power plants since it produces no pollution. But due to less photon conversion or accumulation efficiency, the PV panel installation requires more area to meet the demand, which is a major drawback for roof-top solar-power implementation. For this, the research is focused on honing solar accumulation efficiency with mirrors along with concentrators to reduce initial panel size over demand. Compared to the findings, it can be seen that, reflecting more photon to the panel area meets the objective of this research successful, considering heat tolerant point. Using multiple photon concentrator for photon accumulation, the efficiency got improved from 4.65% to 11.61% in case of Mono Crystalline Silicon (C-Si) Solar Cell. Residential consumers will surely become benefitted for using this method by getting 6.96% more power to meet the required electricity demand.
