A Comparative Study Between Classic and Intelligent MPPT Techniques for a Photovoltaic System

This study compares the traditional MPPT algorithm to an intelligent fuzzy logic-based controller for a photovoltaic system. Through the control of DC-DC boost, these methods are used to track down and extract a PV system's maximum power point. Thanks to these algorithms, the PV generator may produce its maximum output regardless of alterations in the exterior environment (such as temperature changes and radiation). This article aims to provide a comparative analysis of several conventional and modern MPP tracking techniques for solar panels. Simulation results from the Matlab Simulink environment demonstrate the dependability of the proposed MPPT.
