Design And Construction Of A 500-watt Iot Based Portable Solar Power Generating Station
There is a growing demand for portable solar power systems that can provide reliable and flexible power supply for various off-grid and emergency scenarios such as camping, hiking, fishing, disaster relief, and powering small homes or some parts of the house. In this paper Internet of Things (IoT) based solar power generating station was designed and implemented. This involved designing and implementing components of the solar power station, connecting them, and housing them in a metal casing with air cooling vents. By incorporating IoT technology, users can monitor and control the solar power generating station remotely. The voltage, current, and AC load are sensed, and then the WIFI module embedded in the microcontroller transmits the values to a database. The values are then displayed on the software platform. This portable system delivers 350 watts of power for 4 hours at 220 volts and 3 amperes when fully charged.
