Research on the Influence of Climatic Test Sequence on the Image Quality of Optical Imaging System
Optical imaging systems are widely used in various video surveillance sites, which may withstand various harsh environmental aging conditions such as salt spray, high and low temperatures. At present, more attention has been paid to the impact of a single environmental factor on the overall imaging quality of the system, but there is a lack of research on the impact of a series of climate tests on the overall imaging quality of the system. In this paper, the quantitative effects of two typical climatic test sequences on the imaging quality of a typical imaging system are studied. Imaging resolution, color reproduction and gray scale were selected as the main imaging quality parameters. It is found that different climatic experiment sequences have different effects on the imaging quality of the imaging system. It was found that the harshness of test sequence 1 was much higher than that of sequence 2, which caused more damage to the sample. Therefore, in the process of evaluating the reliability of the sample, the appropriate test sequence should be selected. The research of this paper will provide some reference for the revision of standards and the reasonable formulation of test schemes for test engineers.
