Research on Distance Measurement Methods for Standing Long Jump
With the increasing focus on physical exercise, the standing long jump has become a significant measure of adolescents’ physical fitness. Traditional distance measurement methods for standing long jumps are either subjective, cumbersome, or lack precision. This study introduces a standardized, computer vision-based approach that automates the measurement process, enabling simultaneous testing and interference resistance. By employing object detection, keypoint detection, and key pose classification models, our method ensures high-precision distance measurement without the need for test subjects to wear electronic devices. The aim of this research is to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of standing long jump assessments, providing a reliable tool for physical fitness evaluations.
