<i>JOSPT Methods:</i> It Is Time to Have a Journal Focused on Methodology in Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation, Sports Physical Therapy, and Exercise Medicine

SYNOPSIS: High-quality randomized clinical trials, observational studies, consensus statements, clinical practice guidelines, or evidence syntheses are continually published in physical therapy, rehabilitation, and sports science journals. Musculoskeletal and sports clinicians have solid information to assess and manage their patients and athletes. Things are going very well, but we need to keep pushing in this direction. I am excited to support all authors interested in strengthening methodology in the fields described above. In this editorial, I will introduce JOSPT Methods, a new journal that welcomes those studies that aspire to improve and help progress musculoskeletal rehabilitation, sports physical therapy, and exercise medicine.
