The All Polarization Helix Antenna: The Sine Wave Antenna
An all-polarization equivalent of the Axial Mode Helix Antenna (AMHA) is described. Projections of the helix on a cylindrical envelope define one or more sine radiating elements. A single beam axially directive radiation is provided. All polarizations can be synthesized: linear, circular, and dual polarizations. Directivity for length can exceed that of the Axial Mode Helix Antenna and the Yagi-Uda Antenna. 50-ohm coaxial feed is provided. Construction by flexible printed circuit board wrap is shown.
