A Method for Designing Camouflage Waveform Based on PCFM Waveform

The paper introduces the concept of camouflage waveform in response to the limitations of traditional anti-reconnaissance waveform design methods, and designs such a waveform specifically for the widely-used Linear Frequency Modulation (LFM) radar waveform. To tackle the challenge of elevated sidelobes in camouflage waveforms, a momentum gradient descent algorithm based on Goldstein criterion is proposed to effectively minimize these sidelobes.

Abstract

The paper introduces the concept of camouflage waveform in response to the limitations of traditional anti-reconnaissance waveform design methods, and designs such a waveform specifically for the widely-used Linear Frequency Modulation (LFM) radar waveform. To tackle the challenge of elevated sidelobes in camouflage waveforms, a momentum gradient descent algorithm based on Goldstein criterion is proposed to effectively minimize these sidelobes.
