Data Breach Notifications and Their Completeness
Data quality in documentation is crucial for organizations to access and analyze data. It plays a vital role when we analyze security breach documents and data breach notifications. The critical data quality dimensions are completeness, uniqueness, timeliness, validity, accuracy, and consistency. This paper analyzes the completeness of 10 Washington state data breach notification documents to explain how completeness plays a critical role in breach notifications to understand data breaches. If the data breach notifications are incomplete, this hinder analysis and have a larger potential to mislead the analysis and different results due to the missing information. This analysis compares the 10 data breach notifications with the Washington State data breach notification form to test their completeness and provide the findings.
