Transcriptome Sequencing Analysis of the Effects of Metformin on the Regeneration of Planarian Dugesia japonica

The results suggest that metformin accelerates planarian eyespot regeneration, potentially through the regulation of DjCK1α. This study provides the first transcriptome-based analysis of drug effects on regeneration in planarians, highlighting the role of metformin in the regeneration process.
