Atributos da Atenção Primária em Unidades de Saúde Rural pela perspectiva de mulheres
Primary care has a set of components, called attributes, divided into essential first contact access, comprehensiveness, longitudinality, coordination of care and derived family orientation, community orientation and cultural competence, which allow the service to be evaluated. The aim of this study was to evaluate the attributes of primary care in rural Family Health Strategy units in Toledo-Paraná, from the perspective of women. This is a cross-sectional, descriptive and quantitative study conducted in rural Family Health Strategies in Toledo, Paraná. The Primary Care Assessment Tool questionnaire was used. Essential and overall scores were calculated for each attribute. Values greater than or equal to 6.6 indicated satisfactory presence of the attribute. A total of 103 women took part in the study. The core score of 6.8 and overall score of 6.6 were considered satisfactory, although four components individually showed shortcomings. Community orientation received the lowest score with 5.2 and first contact/use access received the highest score with 8.9. There were shortcomings in the individual attributes, although overall the service was satisfactory. Further studies on this subject are suggested in order to provide theoretical support for the development of new actions to improve PHC in rural areas.
