Drivers for the adoption of integrated sustainable green lean six sigma agile service system (ISGLSASS) in the service organizations

Service organizations contribute to the major portion of any Nation's economy. It has experienced significant growth over the past few years. To meet the customers' and stakeholders’ variety of service needs, sustainable development of the service organizations is essential. Sustainable development enables the organization to balance operational efficiency with the organizational market, economic, environmental, and social goals. However, the unpredictable and turbulent nature of service demand necessitates the adoption of a comprehensive framework. The integrated sustainable-green-lean-six sigma-agile service system (ISGLSASS) is a novel framework designed to integrate sustainability, environmental consciousness, operational efficiency, quality improvement, and agility. This study aims to identify the drivers influencing the adoption of ISGLSASS through a systematic literature review. Twelve key drivers have been identified, including government regulations (current and future), incentives, peer and public pressure, cost benefits, competition, customer demand, supply chain pressures, top management commitment, technological advancements, resource availability, and organizational image. These drivers collectively facilitate the implementation of ISGLSASS in service organizations, enhancing their sustainability and adaptability in volatile markets. The novelty of this research lies in several aspects: (i) it is the first study to propose the ISGLSASS concept for service organizations, (ii) it integrates the social, economic, environmental, and market dimensions, (iii) it identifies the drivers associated with ISGLSASS, (iv) it enhances organizational sustainability in the turbulent market, (v) it addresses the need for customized and sustainable services, and (vi) it introduces the concept of service organization symbiosis, where mutual benefits are achieved through expertise, assistance, and support for stakeholders.
