An Improved Active Disturbance Rejection Control for Speed Control of Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor Using Reduced-Order Extended State Observer
In the control system of permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM), it is difficult for traditional PI control to guarantee excellent performance in the face of parameter perturbation and sudden loading, etc. Although the active disturbance rejection control (ADRC) based on extended state observer can observe and compensate all kinds of disturbances, the phase lag of the observer to disturbance estimation must be considered. Aiming at the shortcoming of the extended state observer, this paper proposes to use the reduced order extended state observer (RESO) as the observer part of the speed controller of the PMSM. Compared with the traditional control strategy, the proposed method has faster response performance and stronger disturbance suppression capability. At the same time, a filter with smaller phase lag is proposed to solve the problem that the RESO is susceptible to measurement noise. The simulation results show that the proposed control strategy has better performance.
