Adaptive Linear Neuron-based Active Disturbance Rejection Control System for Current Harmonics Suppression of PMSM Drives
The active disturbance rejection (ADR) controller has been widely used in permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) current regulation system. However, its performance is deteriorated by various periodic harmonics present within the system due to the limited bandwidth of the extended state observer (ESO). Therefore, in this paper, the adaptive linear neuron (ADALINE) with a simple structure and fast training process, is integrated into the ESO to simultaneously suppress the aperiodic and periodic disturbances in the PMSM current loop. Aiming at reducing current estimation error, the ADALINE utilizing Lyapunov stability theorem-based weight update law can take effects in real time during machine operation. Experimental results verify the effectiveness of the proposed method under various speed and load conditions.
