Research on Immersion Evaporative Cooling Under Different Pressure Conditions in High Power Density Motor

Temperature rise is one of the main factors affecting the safe operation of motors. In order to improve the thermal efficiency of the motor, this study explores the immersion evaporative cooling technology used in permanent magnet synchronous motors, focusing on the performance of the cooling system under different pressure environments. The influence of internal pressure of the device on the working time of the motor is analyzed. The operable time of the motor is predicted through multiple iterations. In addition, the cooling effectiveness of the motor was compared under unsealed, sealed (no pressure valve) and sealed (with pressure valve), using oil, water, and Novec7300 as heat exchange media, aiming to provide scientific basis and reference for the design and optimization of evaporative cooling systems for small and medium-sized motors.
