Analysis of the Vehicle-Grid System Stability Considering Electromagnetic Transient Characteristics of High-Speed Railway Vehicles
The load of the electrified railway exhibits nonlinear, asymmetric, and randomly fluctuating characteristics. Electromagnetic transient processes occurring within the vehicle or at the interface with the overhead contact system can significantly affect the stability of the traction power grid system. This paper establishes a vehicle-grid system model by considering the structural characteristics of the vehicle load, based on an analysis of a typical high-speed railway vehicle's electrical topology. Additionally, it performs stability simulation analyses of the vehicle-grid system under various transient conditions. The study delves into the impact of traction load on the power system, providing insights for ensuring power system stability and formulating equipment parameters for traction power supply systems.
