Minimization Copper Loss Full Range for Single-Phase Open-Circuit Fault Tolerant Control in Five-Phase SPMSM with Non-Sinusoidal Back EMF
Optimizing copper loss across the entire range for fault-tolerant control in single-phase open-circuit conditions of a five-phase permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) with non-sinusoidal back electromotive force (EMF). Based on the machine model, this paper proposes a strategy for minimizing copper loss in full range (FRML) constraint for single-phase open-circuit (OC) fault tolerant control method in five-phase PMSM with the non-sinusoidal back EMF. The proposed constraint not only accounts for the influence of the third-order harmonic subspace but also integrates the merits of previous constraints, ensuring minimal copper loss in full torque range of the electrical machine.
