Order Reduction-Based Fault-Tolerant Decoupling Control for Dual Three-Phase PMSM with Two-Phase Open-Circuit Fault
In this paper, an order reduction-based fault-tolerant control strategy is proposed for dual three-phase permanent magnet synchronous machines (DT-PMSMs) with two-phase open-circuit fault. The machine can be operated at three kinds of two-phase faults that include phase shift of π/6, π/ 2, and 5π /6 under the proposed control method. Moreover, the stator winding currents and output torque ripples of the DT-PMSMs caused by two-phase open-circuit faults can also be compensated. The experimental test is conducted to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method.
