ANTIMICROBIAL THERAPY AS THE BASIS OF PROVIDING MEDICAL CARE FOR RHINOSINUSOGENIC ORBITAL COMPLICATIONS
The article presents the results of retrospective analysis of medical care for rhinosinusogenic orbital complications (ROSC) in pediatric and adult ENT departments of TBUZ TO OKB № 2 in Tyumen for the period from 2010 to 2024. Tyumen for the period from 2010 to 2024. Preschool children and patients of working age prevailed among the patients. The analysis of laboratory parameters revealed more pronounced inflammatory changes in the general blood analysis and calculated indices of blood leukocyte shift index in purulent-inflammatory lesions of orbital and brain tissues. Microbiological study of the material obtained during surgical interventions demonstrated polymorphism of etiologically significant pathogens. Along with typical coccus microflora, the presence of microorganisms of the order Enterobacterales, including resistant strains in pediatric patients was noted, which may affect the effectiveness of systemic antimicrobial therapy.
