The Realization Method and Meaning of Illusion in Jin Eun-Young

The following three methods of imagery are used in poems that mainly use young speakers to confess their experiences. First, in Jin Eun-young's poetry, potential and instinctive conflicts and aspirations are expressed through dreams. Dreams are an emotional passage through which latent fears are expressed or an outlet through which hidden wishes are indirectly revealed. Images of adventure and deviation that aim for a state of entropy are depicted as objectified scenes in dreams. Second, the use of metaphor in the creative method makes it possible to distance oneself from the gaze of others while relieving the inconvenience of having the poet's increasingly accelerating concerns fully exposed. The poet's desire to expand metaphor into discourse is sometimes revealed through transformation and deconstruction. Third, the time of the work appears to be stuck in the past, but is actually open to the future. The young speaker of the past, the present in which the young speaker is restored, and the future that will change by restoring the young speaker coexist, showing a sense of fantasy.
