Optimal motor activity of students of a special medical group using the example of the educational process at Petrozavodsk State University

The relevance of the article is due to the search for successful practices to attract students with poor health to systematic physical education classes, increase their level of physical activity, and create a healthy lifestyle. An analysis of regulatory documents regulating the organization of classes with students of a special medical group (hereinafter referred to as SMG) is presented. Recommendations for organizing the physical activity of students can be considered universal, effective and safe, which has practical significance and can be used in the educational process at the university. The article presents material about the experience of educational organizations in implementing health programs with SMG students, an analysis of students' diseases was performed, and functional indicators were studied using the Harvard step test and the Ruffier test. Using digital devices and the survey method, the volume of physical activity of SMG students was revealed. The results of the experiment prove that the use of the circuit training method is effective for optimizing the physical activity of students with poor health.
