Pd-catalyzed imine synthesis from nitroarenes <i>via</i> Fe–H2O under electromagnetic milling
This article introduces a novel, eco-friendly, one-pot method for synthesizing imines <i>via</i> mechanochemistry. Using water as a hydrogen donor and iron as a reducing agent, nitroaromatics react with aldehydes in the presence of a palladium catalyst to form imines efficiently.
