Research on integrated design of construction and maintenance of highway bridge in whole life
As a crucial component of transportation infrastructure, highway bridges play an essential role in the development of the national economy and the advancement of society. The integrated design of bridges throughout their lifecycle encompasses the entire lifespan of the structure, including planning, design, construction, maintenance management, repair reinforcement, and demolition, based on overall structural performance such as safety, practicality, economy, and durability. The author first analyzes and studies the influencing factors of the integrated design and management throughout the entire lifecycle. Secondly, key points for the integrated design of highway bridges across their lifecycle are investigated. Finally, the research focuses on cost management for the integrated design and management of highway bridges throughout their lifecycle, aiming to significantly save lifecycle costs while ensuring the quality, functionality, aesthetic, and service quality of the project, as well as controllable risk, inherent safety, and longevity safety levels.
