Game analysis of ride hailing and urban public transportation based on non cooperative game theory

With the continuous improvement of the urban comprehensive transportation system, the market competition between transportation modes such as ride hailing and urban public transportation is becoming increasingly fierce. This study is based on non cooperative game theory and establishes a complete information static game model for public transportation and ride hailing services. The pure strategy Nash equilibrium and mixed strategy Nash equilibrium are solved, and the conditions for achieving cooperation are discussed in detail; a complete information dynamic game model was established between different ride hailing platform companies, and the perfect Nash equilibrium of their sub games was solved, with specific discussions on the conditions of competition. Finally, based on the results of quantitative analysis, relevant suggestions for competitive cooperation of different transportation modes are proposed. This study is of great significance for improving the comprehensive transportation efficiency of cities, optimizing resource allocation, and facilitating public travel.
