Research on the measurement of integration of port-industry-city development: the case of Qingdao
The integration of port-industry-city system is conducive to optimizing the layout of port, industry and city, and is a crucial measure to promote the high-quality development of the marine economy. To achieve healthy and beneficial growth of port, industry and city, it is necessary to clarify the interactive trend and the extent of integration within the port-industry-city system. In this paper, we selected Qingdao as a case study. Firstly, we selected 24 relevant indicators, and constructed an evaluation index system of port, industry and city. Then, the entropy weight method and coupling coordination degree model were used to measure the level of coordination of port, industry and city in Qingdao from 2015 to 2022. The results show that the coordination degree of port-industry-city system in Qingdao has shown an upward trend over time, and has experienced a process from serious disorder to high-quality coordination. And the comprehensive development level of each subsystem is the main factor affecting the integration of port-industry-city system of Qingdao.
