Research on coordinated development of cargo transport network and rural industry revitalization: a case study of Qinba-Liupan mountain area

The mutual balance and coordination between the cargo transport network and rural industries play a significant role in regional development and are essential for rural revitalization. To avoid the impact of epidemic factors, this study takes the county as the smallest research unit and explores the coordinated development of the cargo transport network and rural industry revitalization in the Qinba-Liupan Mountain area in 2019. Based on the calculation of the comprehensive development index using the CRITTIC method, entropy weight method, AHP method, and weighted TOPSIS method, and utilizing a modified coupled coordination model to calculate the coordination degree between subsystems, relative development degree analysis and obstacle factor analysis are conducted. The results show that the development of the cargo transport network in the Qinba-Liupan Mountain area is relatively lagging, which hinders the development of rural industries. The coordination and development level between the cargo transport network and rural industries exhibit a regional characteristic of higher levels in the west and lower levels in the east, and have a radiating effect driven mainly by central cities in the region.
