Artistic Dynasties: A Cultural Dialogue Through the Centuries

The article is dedicated to the theoretical understanding of the cultural phenomenon of artistic dynasties, using the example of the life, creativity, and cultural-artistic path of the Nagirny and Tsisyk families. The cultural phenomenon of an “artistic dynasty” is viewed as a spiritual connection across generations, rooted in the unique human nature of artists. This connection reflects the repetition of significant family events as loyalty to ancestors through emulation, serving as an emotional genetic response to family history that defines the artistic direction of the entire lineage’s existence. The historical and cultural dimension of the artistic dynasty phenomenon highlights that the life and creative work of the Nagirny-Tsisyk dynasty representatives reflect the Ukrainian people’s complex cultural and historical fate. The continuity of this artistic dynasty, along with the cultural-historical experience of their lineage, serves as a worthy model for emulation – especially for the younger generation.
