The research-practice method in academic drawing and graphic arts training for architects

The relevance of the research stems from the need to find ways of improving the quality of teaching, as well as the means and methods of displaying the architectural environment in the architect's drawing. The article analyses and presents a part of the developed and tested drawing curriculum, which is aimed at artistic and graphic training of architects. The main objectives of the article are: consideration and analysis of the concept and importance of architectural drawing in architectural education; consideration of architectural environment as a model for the formation of artistic and graphic training of architects; consideration of the tested program task in the discipline “Drawing”. The method of analysis made it possible to identify the most relevant problems in the study of the discipline “Drawing, painting, sculpture” in architectural education. The research-practical method allowed to develop and improve the curriculum for the discipline “Drawing”.
