Application of circular training for the development of strength qualities of judokas of 10-12 years old

The article considers that one of the conditions for the development of physical qualities of young judokas is circular training. Circular training is one of the effective organization and methodological forms of application of physical exercises. The purpose of the study is to examine the use of circuit training for the development of strength qualities of young judoka. Research methods: analysis of scientific and methodological literature; study and synthesis of leading pedagogical experience; pedagogical observations. Results. Young judokas of 10-12 years old lay the «foundation» of qualitative strength training for further prospective work. It is shown that one of the conditions for increasing the level of physical fitness of young athletes is circular training with rational rest intervals. This form of training organization implies alternate performance of exercises for different muscle groups – arms, legs, trunk (neck) at different stations. Building training tasks according to this principle allows young judokas to harmoniously develop all muscle groups. For training using the circular method physical exercises are selected in advance, places and sequence of exercises (stations) are determined. In a series of circular training for students should include 6-8 exercises. Efficiency of power training of judokas of 10-12 years old will be maximum if the size of weights is accurately dosed. In 10-11 years it should be 20-30% of the body weight of the students, in 12-13 years it should increase to 40% of the body weight. Conclusions. The effectiveness of the method of circular training is that the density of classes is significantly increased, as everyone is engaged simultaneously and at the same time independently, commensurate with their abilities and efforts. Circle training helps to improve the development of strength qualities, to improve the mode of work and rest when performing training tasks, to expand the motor capabilities of athletes.
