Development of motor coordination of higher education students in the process of fitness classes

This article examines the issues and summarizes approaches to the impact of systematic fitness classes on the development of motor coordination in higher education students. The practical experience of trainers of the Fitness Club "Reforma" in Irpin and scientific research on pedagogical technologies that will allow effective use of fitness components in the development of motor coordination of students of the State Tax University were analyzed and generalized. Based on the generalization of statistical data and a systemic approach, the feasibility of expanding the range of fitness technologies in the physical education of students of higher educational institutions aimed at optimizing motor activity and physical development of a person was investigated. Coordination abilities characterize the properties that determine a person's ability to optimally manage and regulate complex movements. Special coordination abilities refer to groups of purposeful motor actions that are similar in psychophysiological mechanisms and are systematized by the complexity of their execution. The set of special and specific coordination abilities is called general coordination abilities. A wide variety of movements performed in different spatial parameters contributes to the improvement of motor memory and coordination abilities. According to Drachuk A.I., Gavrylyuk V.O., Boyko Y.I., Lukiyanchuk V.L. and other authors, almost all gymnastic exercises develop coordination qualities. Coordination abilities are manifested in the appropriate selection of motor actions from the arsenal of skills mastered by the student. Therefore, it is natural that the level of their manifestation depends on his motor preparedness, the number and complexity of mastered skills, as well as the effectiveness of the mental processes that determine the effectiveness of movement control in general. It was found that it is a comprehensive, systematic approach to the use of fitness that contributes to the development of coordination for future teachers of physical education and sports. The purposeful introduction of fitness technologies into the system of continuous physical education, in physical education classes at universities for the improvement, development and education of youth is today one of the urgent tasks of modernizing curricula and programs.

Abstract

This article examines the issues and summarizes approaches to the impact of systematic fitness classes on the development of motor coordination in higher education students. The practical experience of trainers of the Fitness Club "Reforma" in Irpin and scientific research on pedagogical technologies that will allow effective use of fitness components in the development of motor coordination of students of the State Tax University were analyzed and generalized. Special coordination abilities refer to groups of purposeful motor actions that are similar in psychophysiological mechanisms and are systematized by the complexity of their execution.
