Optimization of the physical condition of schoolchildren during athletic gymnastics classes in the system of extracurricular education

Based on experimental studies and generalization of the source base on the research problem, the main features of optimizing the physical condition of schoolchildren in the process of practicing athletic gymnastics in the system of extracurricular education have been determined. It is emphasized that the concept of "optimizing physical condition" is decisive in the theory and methodology of practicing physical exercises of a health-improving orientation, when the main tasks are: a) improving the functional capabilities of the body; b) increasing its working capacity; c) compensating for insufficient motor activity. It is noted that the physical education of students, whose body is in the process of development, undergoes great loads during training and does not have the functional and adaptive capabilities of an adult, is of particular importance for optimizing the physical condition. Optimization of physical condition is one of the main components of physical health and the task of strengthening it is one of the main ones for the physical education of students. Health is the basis of a high level of physical and mental performance, especially necessary for the younger generation during the school period of life. The body's strength capabilities, along with endurance, are decisive for the physical development and professional activity of a person. The natural result of doing athletic gymnastics, the main means of which are exercises with weights, will be an increase in the strength of various muscle groups. We also investigated the effect of doing athletic exercises on the strength of the extensor muscles of the arms and legs when performing test exercises: "bench press" and "bench leg press". It has been experimentally proven that athletic gymnastics is an effective means of optimizing the physical condition of senior schoolchildren. The systematic use of athletic exercises causes positive changes in physical development, physical fitness, and the functional state of students, and increases physical performance. Operational observation of students during recreational athletic gymnastics classes, registration and analysis of changes in their physical condition using the available set of traditional and adapted for athletic gymnastics tests offered by us enable the teacher-trainer to effectively apply recreational athletic gymnastics tools and optimize the educational and training process.
