Activity in secondary school students through fitness in physical education classes

The aim of the study is to theoretically substantiate the features of forming motivation for physical activity in middle school students through fitness in physical education classes. Methodology. To address the research problem, the following research methods were used: theoretical (analysis and generalization of data from scientific and methodological literature) and sociological (surveying). The scientific novelty of the research lies in the theoretical justification of fitness as a means of forming motivation for physical activity among students within the context of modern educational practices. The study allows for determining the effectiveness of integrating fitness into the educational process and offers new approaches to organizing physical education classes aimed at activating students' motivation. The analysis of the obtained data helps uncover the psychological and social aspects of motivation for physical activity and identifies key factors that may hinder or support the active involvement of students in regular physical education activities. Conclusions. Forming motivation for physical activity through fitness is a complex and multifactorial process that requires an individualized approach to each student. Using various motivational strategies, such as incorporating different types of fitness into physical education classes, individualizing exercises, ensuring emotional comfort, and providing social support, will contribute to the development of not only physical skills but also a positive attitude toward fitness as part of a healthy lifestyle. This will enable students not only to achieve desired results but also to maintain an interest in regular physical activity at all stages of their lives. Thus, fitness as a method for stimulating physical activity is an important tool for forming healthy habits in students, developing their physical and mental qualities, and improving overall health. However, the success of this strategy depends on proper motivation, offering choices, and supporting students in their self-improvement process.

The aim of the study is to theoretically substantiate the features of forming motivation for physical activity in middle school students through fitness in physical education classes. Methodology. To address the research problem, the following research methods were used: theoretical (analysis and generalization of data from scientific and methodological literature) and sociological (surveying).
