ABORDAGEM INTEGRADA NO CHOQUE HIPOVOLÊMICO TRAUMÁTICO: RELATO DE CASO
Hypovolemic shock is characterized by the acute loss of intravascular volume, compromising tissue perfusion and triggering a systemic inflammatory response. Among its subtypes, traumatic hemorrhagic shock stands out, in which acute hemorrhage and the release of inflammatory mediators contribute to the rapid progression of hemodynamic instability. A structured initial approach, such as that recommended by the Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) protocol, is essential to minimize the morbidity and mortality associated with this condition. This study presents a clinical case report of a polytraumatized patient with hemorrhagic hypovolemic shock, covering the initial assessment through the postoperative evolution. The patient underwent fluid resuscitation, surgical hemorrhage control, and transfusion support, evolving favorably. A comparative analysis with the scientific literature highlighted that careful volume resuscitation, early administration of tranexamic acid, and the application of massive transfusion protocols significantly contribute to reducing mortality in these cases. It is concluded that the implementation of evidence-based strategies and the continuous training of healthcare professionals are fundamental to optimizing the management of traumatic hemorrhagic shock, ensuring better clinical outcomes.
