This subreddit analysis characterizes the body dissatisfaction and desire to eliminate gendered physical characteristics that transgender and gender diverse (TGD) people with eating disorders experience. Many on the subreddit who were motivated to recover already had a clear understanding of interactions between their gender identity–related desires and their disordered eating, but were faced with unresponsive providers.
