143P Post-recurrence treatment in modern adjuvant or neoadjuvant soft-tissue sarcoma randomized trials: A cross-sectional study of published trials between 2015 and 2024
Background: Synovial sarcoma (SS) is a rare subtype of soft tissue sarcoma (STS), representing 5e10% of all STS cases.Typically presents at a younger mean age (39 years) and occurs equally in both sexes. Most cases arise in the extremities. While wide surgical excision remains the mainstay of treatment, the role of chemotherapy is controversial, and radiotherapy is often used for larger, deeper lesions.Factors such as tumor size, grade, and patient age have been associated with worse outcomes, but evidence is limited regarding early recurrence predictors.
