How AI Can Facilitate Continuous Education and Skills Development for Adults throughout Their Careers
This study analyzes the role of AI-powered learning tools in continuous education, highlighting their effectiveness in personalized learning, skill development, and professional growth. A quantitative research design was adopted to examine how AI facilitates continuous education and skills development for adults throughout their careers. A sample size of 219 participants was selected using a simple random sampling technique to ensure an unbiased and representative sample of the target population. Data was collected through a self-administered questionnaire designed to capture insights into participants' experiences with AI-driven learning tools. The findings confirm that AI-driven education significantly enhances learning outcomes, with 68% of the variance in educational effectiveness explained by AI-related factors. Moreover, the regression and t-test results revealed demographic variations, with younger learners, males, and undergraduate students showing higher levels of AI adoption and acceptance. Despite its numerous advantages, challenges such as limited access, digital literacy barriers, cost concerns, and privacy issues continue to hinder AI integration in education. To fully leverage AI's potential, institutions and policymakers must work towards closing the digital divide, ensuring ethical AI implementation, and providing tailored AI-driven learning strategies that cater to diverse learner needs. This research contributes to the growing body of knowledge on AI in education and emphasizes the need for further exploration of ethical considerations, accessibility, and long-term impacts of AI-driven learning on continuous education.
