Incessant atrial tachycardia associated to atrial septal aneurysm treated by pulsed field ablation
An atrial septal aneurysm (ASA) is a septal deformity characterized by an abnormal protrusion of the septum toward the left or right atrium, usually at the level of the fossa ovalis. These aneurysms are identified in approximately 2% to 3% of individuals undergoing echocardiography and have occasionally been implicated in atrial tachycardias and embolic events.1 Ablation procedures for arrhythmias related to these saccular malformations are rarely described in the literature.
