Risk Assessment Method for Hypertension in Physical Examination of Electric Power Workers
Objective: To explore the assessment method of individual diabetes risk of employees in power companies suitable for use in the health examination system. Method: The main risk factors and relative risk degree of diabetes incidence of power workers were obtained through the physical examination data of power workers. The relative risk and absolute risk of individual diabetes incidence were calculated according to the calculation formula used in the Harvard cancer risk index. Results: A calculation method was established to assess the risk of individual diabetes through physical examination and lifestyle questionnaire data, including age, BMI, blood triglyceride, hypertension, waist circumference, physical activity and diabetes family history. Conclusion: This model can be used to assess the individual risk of diabetes among electric power workers, and suggest the influence of different risk factors on the risk of diabetes.
