Дискуссионные вопросы определения субъекта юридической техники

The article analyzes the discussion regarding the subject of legal technology: can it be a lawyer or not only a lawyer? The author studies which criteria can be used as the basis for the classification of subjects of legal technology and comes to the conclusion that they can be considered in a narrow sense as a «subject-creating» and in a broad sense as a «subject-using», where the first defines rules, methods, techniques and algorithms, and the second uses them. In addition, a controversial issue is raised about the possibility of artificial intelligence being the subject of legal technology. The author concludes that artificial intelligence has already become a subject of legal technology in a broad sense, which has a positive effect, but humanity should not allow artificial intelligence to become a subject of legal technology in a narrow sense.
