105P Prognostic significance of tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes in rare sarcomas: A multicenter retrospective analysis
Results: Weak to moderate membranous, cytoplasmic and nuclei immunolocalisation of the AF-6 were observed in endothelial cells of all the familial and the plexiform forms of neurofibromatosis type 1.Similarly, the AF-6 moderately localizes to the membrane of the endothelial cells of most of the sporadic neurofibroma studied. Conclusions: From this study, we suggest that the instability of chromosome 17 and neurofibromin that is located on it, may affect chromosome 6 together with afadin-6 in benign lesions such as familiar, plexiform and sporadic neurofibromas with varying severity. These may contribute to the loss of cell-cell adhesion and subsequent unregulated cell proliferation in neurofibromatosis type -1 and the potential of transformation to malignant peripheral nerve tumour (MPNST).
