Enhancement of gait improvement in Parkinson disease with anterior subthalamic nucleus deep brain stimulation
More anterior STN DBS may benefit patients whose primary symptoms include gait disturbances. This study demonstrates the utility of VTA modeling and highlights the importance of patient- and symptom-specific targeting.
