Transforming Interior Design Through Internet Thinking

In the digital era, internet thinking has emerged as a pivotal concept reshaping traditional industries, including interior design. This study explores how internet thinking principles—being user-centric, data-driven, and fostering cross-disciplinary collaboration—are transforming interior design processes. By leveraging advanced technologies such as Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and cloud computing, designers can now more accurately capture user needs, optimize design solutions, and enhance user participation. The research adopts a comparative case study methodology, analyzing both quantitative and qualitative data from diverse projects incorporating these technologies. Results indicate significant improvements in design efficiency, user engagement, and overall satisfaction. Online design platforms notably reduce project completion times while increasing accuracy and personalization.
